Generitrack package track is an on-line package tracker that allows corporations
to automate the package receipt and delivery process.
Packages are received into post staff's default locations and logged against the
recipient for whom they are intended. The person's location is automatically recorded.
If required, a mail-merged email is sent to the recipient containing the package
details.
The undelivered packages are transmitted to handheld terminals via GPRS, wi-fi or
ethernet. Packages can be added to trollies and moved between locations.
Post room staff can use their trolley to build rounds. Having filled their trolley,
the portable software can be used to quickly inform post room staff the areas they are
required to visit.
Upon package delivery, the portable can be used to record a signature and GPS location to provide proof of delivery. These details are sent back to the
central repository where an email can be automatically generated.
At each stage throughout the receipt & delivery process a full history is recorded.
This includes
who carried out the action and when.
Delivery notes can be produced after a package has been delivered or collected.
